A Garden of Thoughtful Evolution

By the time work began, the landscape had outgrown itself. Installed more than fifteen years earlier, plantings had matured, root systems had shifted, and circulation routes were increasingly compromised.

I arrived early in the refresh process, initially observing as the team reworked an existing path that had become treacherous due to tree growth and root movement. From there, the focus shifted to responding to the site as it was—stabilizing disturbed areas, re-establishing planting structure, and guiding the garden toward a more cohesive and resilient next phase.
